I'm considering going down the LOBA route eventually as my front disks are on the way out and the price for replacement is competitive.

yeh seen a few people talk about the LOBA stuff but would think the standard disks would suffice with the help of some decent pads, fluid and lines! The pads have always been the weak link before the disk shows any signs of giving up for me.

be interested in your feedback on the new brake set up.
Thankyou i will report back with how they perform but Sonny uses the same setup just different fluid and lines and he seems happy with his and he does track days to! i have been in numerous cars with Ferodo DS2500 and i still cant believe the performance of them.

Sweet, the Type-R looks quick. When are you planning on heading back to Cadwell?

Yes for sure, keep your eyes open in the meets section as we always post up track day events. Opentrack do a very good session.

I wont be tracking the Clio until the new year now as I need new piston rings....However I am getting itchy feet to get the RS4 back on track :FIREdevil:

Gave her a wash today as it was minging after 3 weeks without and decided to apply Dodo supernatural to protect the paint over the winter months...

that was applied, didnt get any afters as it was to dark.

And got these goodies to fit...

Image

so got excited after wrapping the bottom of my Revolution air box with the heat tape and decided to fit it

During...

and fitted...
Image

again dark so not very good on the picture front!

Plan to fit all my brake hoses and pads tomorrow and bleed with the new fluid then going to take off the front bumper and delete the drivers aux rad to fit the cold air feed. Then going to fit my PIAA led sidlight bulbs and take off the rear bumper strip and front grill surround to be sent off and be carbon wrapped.

Little video under load but not very good as on my iphone! going to get out the gopro and do some propper videos but the airbox sounds mental lol

What do you think of the sound Ben? I was quite impressed and was really loving it for the day that I could still hear it! Wish i'd got a cone filter years ago now!

How come you weren't giving it any beans in the video, rozzers on your tail?

i wasn't keen at first but its changed after a few miles to a lot deeper V8 boom boom and i love it! works very well with the exhaust for sure :) i stopped 3 people on the same stretch of road earlier to stop and see what it was lol that's impressive. I definitely cant hear the exhaust as much now lol

Nah i was in a 30 zone just before my house so was allowing everything to cool down and just decided to put it under a bit of load in 3rd so you could hear the burble i have another but its only short...

Image

as said there not the best but all i have done at the moment! had to much fun to think about it earlier. Videos do the sounds no justice!!
