Shane, iv got some bad news for you!

..... you gonna have to buy this RS 4 ... I know its hard to take all at once, you may need to sit down, but you'll get over the shock ...

LOL

The pics look excellent
Daytona is the nuts .... the only reason i said walk away if no optics is because im in love with Sonny's car (sorry Sonny!)
but the alu looks really classy
Its perfect spec in terms of seats, steering wheel and tech pack and colour
The drivers seat looks brand new
for the mileage and year its a very good price and with the p/x being offered its a bargain!

Just do your homework on tyres/brakes etc so you dont get stung ... obv 3 months warranty will keep you protected

My advice ... buy it... take it to MRC for an oil change and inspection (unless it needs a major service in 6k?) and if they find anything untoward then you can get him to sort it

I wouldnt bother the man too much on the optics, he's likely to balls it up !

OK,
Booked in on Sunday to view and drive. Brakes were replaced all round 7 months ago and he's replacing the tyres. Serviced 3 months ago.

Sounds too good to be true.

Watch this space.

Thanks SO much guys.

If I were a girl I'd snog ya!

he's replacing the tyres
it may be worth asking which make of tyre he is planning to fit, some dealers fit sh1t for £150 when I'd rather pay the extra £50 for quality.
Good luck and yes Sonny's car looks ace but his is done properly so you'll have to stick with Daytona and standard optics like me :P

agree on the tyres ... if he's going to fit <beep>, tell him to hold fire and if you want the car you can top the tyre fund up to get top spec

Black Avant with black optics ruled out - not a pleasant experience.

Yep, Apart from the sound which was fantastic and new rear tyres there weren't a lot of positives. The wife even loved the look of it from a distance but after 20 seconds you could see it had been neglected. I just hope my trip down to Bournemouth to see the Daytona saloon isn't such a bad experience.

OK,
Just viewed MH06 VUB http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2215345.htm

A few things apart from mileage and age bothered me but am I being picky?

There was a rust patch on the bonnet about 2 inches wide but the dealer has a mail from Audi stating that would be corrected under warranty.

The grill surround had weird dicolouration patches all over it and needs to be replaced.

The sunroof juddered when closing

Centre armrest lid and cup holder both need replacing but he said they would do that.

Seat bolsters, steering wheel and gear lever all looked tired.

There was also no sign of the word Milltek on the tail pipe which I thought was on them all?

No receipts at all for anything!

On the plus side it's £3k cheaper than the Bournemouth car so I can plough that in this car if needed.

What do you think? Walk away?

What's the sticker on the front edge of the door bottom?
Also there seems to be one on above the hazard switch too.
And is that a V8 sticker on above glove box?!

Back bumper looks more off colour than they normally do.

Looks like a repossession kind of car to me, stickers and iffy bits on it, see loads at auctions and you can tell.

Cheap is usually cheap for a reason I find :)

The sticker's an MTM sticker and yes a V8 badge on the glovebox. Also no heated rear seats.
