Right, resonated pipes now fitted, and I have to say its just perfect for me - No boominess, great sound and discreet, but miles better sound than standard with the vacuum pipes(don't mention them!) disconnected.

Having tried both I can say that the rules are simple;

If you have kids - Non resonated with valves or resonated without valves.

No kids - Get a Porsche 911......... :biggrin3: but seriously, non res, valved or not, as the bomminess can be driven around, quite easily, just not by my wife!

as the Milltek oval still has the quad ports set back in the Oval pipes...call APS (or whoever and ask them)!
I could be wron here but i though only the valved system had quad sections because of the valve a non valved system just has 1 larger exit into the oval tip......?

As i said could be wrong but this is what I was lead to believe!!??

Jim
Nope, youre wrong :wink:

non valved also has quads pipes within the oval
Correct. Even on the R8 V10 with twin oval pipes if you look into it its just 2 smaller tail pipes stuck together inside. See picture (ok sorry, its not the inside of it, didn’t want to spoil the picture).

No, I am on a B7 :) B7 is not that far off to the R8 V10.
