its a full day job, drop car off first thing and pick up at end of day, worth it though, I can recommend them, had 2 cars done now, top work both times and the guy running it is a nice bloke to boot

£220 for 4 fully refurb'ed wheels ? - wow!

Do these people have a good rep? I thought the going rate price was more like £100-150 per wheel for a pucker job?

I can't get over how good the finish looks in the pics - you would never know...

It's matt black for me if i ever go down this route 8)

The price is about right, it costs me £260 for 4 refurbished wheels and that is a full strip, primer, paint (any colour), lacquer and bake job.

Klauster

Car looks fantastic!

I have had a track car done with the vinyly wrap before
Image

For a track car or sdvertising on a van its great - not sure about on my personal car though? I got the same company to do the track car, and the folds / overlaps do show through on the wings / back etc. How well is it finished on your car? Can you show us a close up of the finishing and also with the door open?

My car was in and out in a day, so wasnt the same preparation/care taken as yours so maybe this makes a big difference?

Would appreciate your comments and any more pics!

In the end, he had to have the whole car resprayed back to the original colour. Just thought you should know the downside when it comes to removal - it actually put me off doing my car as none of the wrapping companies would actually offer a written guarantee stating:- "There will be no damage caused to the cars original paint work when removing the vinyl"

Looks good though!
Are you talking about Woppum and the the River Island CSL, cant believe he had to have the whole car resprayed, I bet he was pxxxxd off.
Yes - I think it was Woppum, read it on mtorque forum. I think that he had been given the same assurances that it would be ok - but you just don't know until the day it comes off.

May aswell just enjoy it - worry about what's underneath later (or just leave the wrap on when you sell it  )

Nick IMO you need to colour them in Titan Grey the same as the white edition car, too much contast between the black and white. Also get the mirrors done the same colour. Why dont you like the wheels? See the pic below

You also need to get rid of the fried egg headlight indicators to give the car a clean look at the front and also a white edition grille surround would look good.

Nick I had a look on the Wheel Specialist site and it looks like you've had the matt black paint finish, they do do a grey anthracite finish which will give you the look you are after. What is the standard of the finish like are you pleased with that?
