i can only do Apr 29 - May 2 bank holiday weekend. So will now put plans in place and could be set to join AKA DK.

It's still an Audi ain't it ha? How is it btw any good? If your heading for the highlands you'll pass thru Glasgow I imagine so maybe come catch you guys for a pub lunch and a chat

There's a beautiful deep blue ttrs near me it's stunning i haven't seen a tts right enough! You can pm me neither the time let me know some details about the trip etc

Personally, I would go up the A1 (no roundabout's now), stop half a mile short of Scotch Corner @ the Shell garage for some well needed fuel. Then pick up the A68 @ junction 58 & follow all the way to Scotland - alternatively carry on up the A1 till you pick up the A69 @ Newcastle and follow til you hit the A68.

I know that there is quite a few camera's on the A68, but it's a great driving road into Scotland and then on to the ring-road round Edinburgh.. Usually stop @ Jedburgh for someting to eat & some more V-Power.

A68 Otterburn - Carter Bar - Kelso stretch is a great driving road but more of a challenge Scotland to England and the other way around.

Due to work committments I have no way of organising my way out of a paper bag at present and for the next 3 months regarding a Scottish trip; so if anyone wants to take over and organise for the other feel free to do so.
