Yes, optics (done properly) cost a fortune. There are cheaper alternatives that give the same appearance so check exactly what he is offering.

The Avant on the link above looks decent value - I especially like the titan wheels.

Lol,
Regarding the black optics. He has claimed that the existing stainless is removed and resprayed black by their VAG centre (who apparently do the Audi main dealers work). Just a line or sound right?

I looked into having this done to my tips to complete my black optic upgrade, but I doubt what the longevity would be like, guessing it would have to be heat resistance for a start as the tail pipes wil get very hot on a good track run :P

The privacy glass would be aftermarket as it was never a option on a saloon from new.

As a Daytona owner what are your honest thoughts? I was going to ask for a guarantee for the paintwork anyway.

Yours looks the nuts btw.

Thanks, my thoughts on Daytona with the Optics :D , im happy I went with it, It took me over a year to decide and go ahead with it, likewise with the Titanium pack too.

If he can get the optics done at a discount/trade price, I cant see it being much cheaper than 1k (remember a saloon needs the rear strip colour coded to body).

Thanks Sonny,
I've been looking for ages and it seemed there were loads that met my requirements. Now I'm ready to buy I can't find any.

Honestly? If it was lime green I'd still love it for what it is.

The Titanium pack was offered to European customers only (i think), Its the Titanium effect wheels and mirrors (dark gun metal in Matt lacquer).

Here's a pic of mine and scagheads car, you can see the difference between Titan wheels and silver.
