What Colour RS4 Avant should I Buy - Most desirable please

its all down to personal choice.

My last 3 cars have been black, although a pig to clean they look superb when theyre gleaming in the driveway. Red also, i think looks awesome when clean - but ive never owned a red car.

My first choice was to find a sprint blue, but couldnt get one with the mileage and spec i wanted so settled for black again.

Again the optics are personal choice - i like them, think it gives the car a more aggressive look especially on the black. However im not keen on the black mirrors which ive seen on here, think the matt silver looks nice on them and breaks up the car a bit.

if you have lots of cars available with the spec you want then you can choose which colour you like. But i think most (unless ordering from new) would choose spec, condition, mileage etc over colour unless it was something you particularly disliked!

as they say - once youve had black you never go back!

My car is in with Rob at Camberley right now (just got off the phone and am getting new DRCs all round and firmware upgrade etc... ) and he mentioned last night what a pig of a job it is to 'install' the optik pack retrospectively....not a cheap option

Thanks for the info. Can you PM us how much it is costing please, is thats ok?; as Camberley is sort of my neck of the woods, about 45 mins. Be interested if prices varies wildly between dealers.

Second the silver leather, I also opted for the silver headlining as I wanted to get away for the "Dark Hole of Calcutta" feel that my previous Audis all had.

Along with the sunroof, it's made the interior of my RS4 a bright and welcoming place - IMHO.

I agree with that Dave, my last car was a 3.0TDI with the (solid) solar sunroof and a black headlining, it was the only thing I didn't like about the car, it was very dark and clautstrophobic. My RS4 has a proper glass roof and what a much brighter airy feeling it gives the car.

Currently Black is winning for me, like Stodie's and Irvinds, def the Black Optics and Titan wheels for me though.

Agree that condition/spec is most important over colour, but I want my cake and eat it....with a cherry on top...and cream on the side

Mrs has Veto'd Gray or Silver I said Black with Black Optics and Titan Wheels, she thinks the same but Red... so for Marital Harmony it will probably have to be Sprint Blue

Looking at a Audi Approved used Red one at the monent and asking them if they can retrofit fit the Black Optics pack, Titan wheels , privacy glass as condition of sale

I know others have had this done and some dealers wont do this anymore because its a PITA, I just told them that its a deal breaker if it can't be done (they dont want to do it), depends how bad they want a sale, is end ofthe month and approaching christmas so will see what they come back with

What does everybody think of Red ....I am thinking of Red as its a bit different and more unique; I think Blue /Optics/ Titan would be my preferred choice.
