I'd travel Hull-Rotterdam so would meet you en route on the Continent or at the Hotel.
I can't do July or August, but all the Sept/Oct are fine.
Would either go for a Single or Twin depending if i can drag Phil out there
I'll keep an eye on the thread for the dates that most suit the masses & work around that.

Similarly I can do 15th August at a push, and all dates after, but none before
Thanks pad125 for organising - would love to be part of it, but understand if you go for an earlier date to please the majority
I'll either be a single or a twin, depending on whether I have any friends who trust my driving...

UPDATE.
I've called DFDS Ferry Company about the crossing for the guys 'up-north' and it would appear the Internet is playing up but generally they have availability for the weekends in question.
......and now the bad news. Their Saturday crossing is a 17.00hrs so it would mean a Friday crossing and the cost if booked on line for 1 car and 2 people is £432 approx.
Not sure how important it is to you guys to go from Newcastle but it sounds like the numbers are mounting up once you take into account another nights B&B and the cost of ferry crossing.
Let me know if you’ve got another way of doing this.
Thanks
Patrick

Hi
I can do the following dates, would need a twin room, and would go via euro tunnel, hope that helps in narrowing down on a specifc weekend.
15.08.09
05.09.09
19.09.09
03.10.09
thanks
Andrew

Hi guys, after looking at the return so far, the common date would appear to be 5th September. Most people seem to be away for the summer and any later we are at the mercy of the weather. I’ll proceed to scout for accommodation for the Saturday night based on most people being able to fill their passenger seat and therefore requiring a twin room. If this is different to your requirement drop me a PM or thread here.
I’ve not come up with any other cost effective alternative to the euro tunnel option for the guys wishing to make the trip from the north; most ferry companies want you to travel Friday night were a cabin is compulsory at £400+. If you know of anything better let me know I don’t mind doing some chasing.
Based on the 5th of September if anyone can’t make it that previously showed an interest please let me know; same for those that couldn’t commit unit a date was firmer let me know it his works for you.
I’ll post the results of the accomm when I get some replies. Sorry for the delay in getting back to everyone.

Sorry guys, before we all go making firm plans it would appear that the world superbikes are on that weekend so all the accommodation is booked. I'll send out some more emails with alternative dates, probably the week after

Looks like 19th Sept is out too, Renault World Cup that weekend, all accomm booked up.
Looks like we'll be going for the July/August dates. Keep you all posted

Ok, so the storey so far.
It would appear there's something going on at the competition circuit most weekends making it nearly impossible to get accommodation for 1 night close to the circuit. Having spoken with some of the B&B’s they have suggested going further afield for digs, how far this will take us remains to be seen. I’ll do a search of the area and keep expanding until we find something suitable and see how far we need to travel to hold up for the night. Not sure what people’s feelings are on this as we will all have done quite a bit driving in the day already but I guess that’s just the way it has to be. I’m guessing 30-45mins from the circuit would be civilised anymore and it starts to get tiresome.
Any other options/idea’s most welcome
