the readiness/incpomplete is probably because you have just re-set fault codes etc

It is showing incomplete because it would not complete the test.
When the failed components were being tested they were constantly flicking between the on and off position regardless of how long I left it for.

This voltage supply relay test is failing too constantly flicking on and off and the test will not complete.
Does this mean the relay is broken ? Where is the relay ?Image

Intake manifold flap tests for both show it constantly flicking from 0% to 96.6%, test shows as failed.

voltage supply relays are under the scuttle in a box beside engine ecu
there are 2x 70a relays and a little 393 labelled one
the first big relay[furthest away from the 393 ] gives engine comms faults etc if faulty
there are also several fuses under there
my first relay gave issues -a non start though[turned over but no start] and flagged up multiple engine comms faults

but-some vag cars show the cat signals incomplete after codes being cleared untill after a lot of driving
with cats removes or messed with you may have spacers or had the signal mapped out/ignored

thanks very much arthur, i think i will test the relays tomorrow and replace if any are faulty. im hoping there is a faulty relay.
it would make some sense to me if it was a relay at fault because of how many tests failed, basically everything that has got to do with the vacuum system has failed.

That's true I bought a rs4 with problems and would like to fix them myself like I have done with over a hundred other cars with help from forums.
I don't need anyone to tell me that it's best to take it to a garage and let them fix it.
I have tried to get codes with VCDS life but it won't connect to the engine controller.
I have a aquantence coming tomorrow to give it a full VCDS scan.
I will post the results and hopefully then someone can offer some help.

Over 100 other cars? Are you buying them knackered, fixing them and selling them then?
