Anyone can do the the CC when I had my supercharger fitted, it took about 30 mins to wipe away what was there it was more of a sticky residue instead of build up

How are you finding the super charger? how much does this mod cost? and is the engine itself able to cope with the new addition?

A lot of cars limit torque in lower gears to stop wheel spin and stop you trashing the gearbox / running gear. However I read a very good scientific post on here years ago proving that you can never use any more throttle than is already available in those gears.
What do you mean by that Mike?

Hi found a car not too far from me..

It has 1 previous owner in the UK and near 80k on the clock @ £16.5k in the blue I want.

Car was imported from Ireland. Never bought an imported car before, as history is unknown..

However seller says the car came with a proper Irish checks they do, and it has 2 owners in Ireland and book is also stamped for service..

Any thoughts?

Spec and condition is key and if the budget allows get it inspected before making a final commitment.

Depends if you mean Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland. If it was Northern Ireland, it will be a UK spec car and should be able to get the history from the Audi dealer network if it was serviced there. It should also show up on the MOT history checker if still on a Northern Irish registration number.

If it was a Republic of Ireland car, it may have some slightly different spec to normal UK, but with any car of this age that shouldn't matter and you should buy on condition. Probably more difficult to check the history of the vehicle as it will have had a Southern Irish registration number.

Not sure what the seller means by "proper Irish checks"....the Irish MOT is called an NCT and it is quite strict. But the Northern Irish MOT's are all completed in proper government MOT stations and not by any registered garage so they are also very strict tests.

thanks..will look into this..

also checking the MOT history..

2014 - 2015 - 82,855
2015 - 2016 - 86,598
2016 - 2016 - 89,773

The owner has had the car for 1.5 years..

says the car is garages and only used on weekends..

Car is advertised with 89k..seems not really driven since last mot in August 2016

Which bit are you asking about? The carbon clean or the torque?

Nice looking example

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/ ... 06/6923610

Seen that..little too far from me..but if i dont find one local..have another one in that direction to see aswell..

this RS4 has a black grill and black strips on the rear and by the windows on the doors... would one of the owners possibly have sprayed these?

Possibly but it was also an upgrade option so a bonus if you like the black optic option.
