My front Discs are pretty thin now after 60k miles, the pads were replaced last March and when i spoke to Audi they said wait until the pads are done and replace the discs and pads. do you guys just wait for the pad low message light to come on or get them checked visually? i really feel it's time to replace the discs but not sure if anyone else has replaced just the discs and used the old pads? thanks

you "should" change the pads when you do the discs - worn pads on new discs isn't a recommended combo. based on the cost of the discs its probably not worth risking any problems you might cause yourself by trying to reuse the pads...
