Busted !! lol

Gutted to hear about the Dectane issues. It was one of the things on the "some day soon" list. I quite like the "solid line" design they did but Im not sure if its still available and it looked a bit dim in the photos I had seen.

Well, the poor finish and alignment issues remain but the LEDs that were not working yesterday have decided to start working today. I have left the boot interior in pieces as I am still not sold at all but the other half really likes them, which is annoying.... I will let Dectane know about the cluster that is acting up so that can't act surprised if I tell them down the road that I want a replacement, sadly I didn't take photos of it not working last night.

if I unbolt the 2 holding metal plugs on the outside of the left cluster and dremel off the hex heads from them/shorten the threads, I could fit them deeper in to the cluster, which would then pull them closer in to the bodywork, giving a closer, more flush fit. The bumper is slightly out on the right side where madam reversed it in to a wall but unless I pickup a bumper for peanuts, it will stay like that for a while.. I can space out inside the bootlid where the inners clam p against, to pull them in better as well.

The indicators are a definite improvement over then Dectane C5 estate ones, about 50% better or so I would say but the proof will be how they hold up in direct sunlight.

Anyhoo, some pictures of my two sexy girls, usual apologies for the house, not mine, just renting....:

Black optics would look cool but for some reason I think the 6 would look odd without the bright trim around the windows.

I like it,

I'd like it more if the two halfs of lit led stop lights almost joined up if you know what i mean. But Im weird with things like that.

Still unsure but not as put off as I was earlier.

Agreed.
It’s been a long held criticism of the Dectanes.

Also, looks like the gypsies didn't have quite enough tarmac “from their other job”, to finish the pavement properly.
But I digress...
