I think the two weeks is because they're having to be sent off once the engine's out (apparently book procedure is to remove engine to take heads off ?)

I can see why they couldn't do it in situ though as its a really awkward place to get into and it's rock solid
How AMD got those valves up that clean in their before/after pics that's floating around must be a work of a true craftsman or a serious amount of hours

I don't know, they did say it was one of the worst they had seen though.

But it did make a big difference. Completely different beast.

Although I did have 100 cell cats and a remap at the same time

My car was done in situ, it was soaked in petrol and carb cleaner, like Pauls mine came up mint, the car was a lot more responsive with way more low down power, I think Audi are a bit behind when it comes to this, but if it's free fair play I guess

Hi Paul hope your good mate, the ex master tec at Walton Audi set his own business up for Porsche and Audi his company is called mmms technik, his name is Dan he does all the work on my car he is totally invaluable, what he doesn't know isn't worth knowing basically. I'm still waiting for a ticket in the post from are little blat through the hind head tunnel, your goes well Paul sounds nice with the cats, I'm thinking of ditching my pre cats for straight pipes, and then remap again

That's not that bad .. we do them with the engine in place ..
