This is gonna be a verrry interesting project... !

2 questions Danny:
1. Do they have to remove the TTS before lowering the engine ?
2. Are they the Supersprint Headers I spy ?

Cheers

Looking good Danny. Why is the engine being pulled apart for inspection ? Is this a precaution or has some gone Pete ?

We had to remove the engine to show how good the supersprint manifolds look! Powerwise it is not much at all, as the stock manifolds are a nice ish design already.

The charger was removed so it was not touched when it was lifted out.

As far as I'm aware my cars been driven the hardest for longest on superchargers, so we agreed to have a look at it in detail and all it's components.engine came out for three reasons, my peace of mind to make sure everything is ok, to look at the option of doing rods so I can run nitrous and I'm doing a full colour change so engine bay wants doing

Doug, when you say not much gain at all are you looking at less than 5%? 2%? just curious what benefits they would have because otherwise unless you have the passion and as deep pockets as Danny does, they are quite an expensive mod/£?

10ps gains so far so it is hard to justify the cost. I am sure I have pictures of the stock ones besdie these - and stock are not bad. Most cars with log style mnaifolds will get big gains with good tubular manifolds.

Don't know as of yet engine only came out on Monday. I think I'm going to do all the chains and stuff whilst the engine is out as well
