Get a RR report then an expert report MRC (or other reputable tuner). Before and afters.

Offer them the evidence and give them the opportunity to deal with it, then get them to the small claims court with as much publicity as possible. I am quite sure there will not be aleg to stand on.

Sounds like you have a poor dealer, mine popped the EPC light on for a few miles, apparently one of the tumble vanes was sticking, had full new inlet manifold and airbox flap,First class service from master tech and hull audi.Ive had issues with them in the past with my b5 firm but diplomatic chats with the DP in a busy showroom usually gets you sorted.

Write to "What Car" magazine, I think they have a section which deals with reader's car problem.
I think once a motoring publication gets involved, Audi would certainly take notice, and hopefully your problem will be resolved in no time!!!

Beware !!

This can also have a negative effect on resale value.
If everyone is aware of issues then the price will fall !
At the moment they are in demand, so the prices are rising.

Yup, without a doubt it would affect resale. I would say this is a last resort!

On a rolling road if you get 360 hp thats, spot on and there is nothing wrong with your car, remember Audi quote 414 at the fly wheel, and you get around 15% drive train loss because if quattro, 10% on a 2 wheel drive car.... Then you have to take in to account ambient tempreture and all that... but if everyone is getting around 360hp, there is nothing wrong!

your 285, there is something wrong, maybe put in something to clean the valves, this could also hamper some of your performace but maybe not that much....

Just a edit on my previous post, 360 hp at the wheels, not at the already added hp, to make it at the fly, so at the wheels....

Agree that it shouln't put anyone off but if 20 owners stick their cars on a RR for a bit of fun and a few get dramatically different figures to the rest and you're one of those few, wouldn't you be concerned

Subsequent investigation has (I believe) fixed Oli & Klauster's problems - which incidentally were genuine, not a dyno error - so that just leaves Mac...
:nogarors4: :jump:

After a little persistence, my car ended up with Audi Camberley.

3 faults were found.

1) Seized flap in the air box.
2)Auxiliary solenoid for the air flap was corroded/had water in.
3)Vacuum pipe that feeds the the flap in the air box was squashed - most probably happened when the car was built.

Tonight was the first real opportunity to 'feel' the difference - if any...

It certainly feels more responsive and definitely has the sparkle that I thought has been missing for a long time.

If those words seem tame - it probably should have read ''***k, it pulls like a train now!!'' :biggrin3:

A BIG thank-you to Rob & Stuart @ Camberley - excellent service, professional & by people that really want to help you...

My case was certainly assisted by attending the RR in Slough, which highlighted my problem - so thanks to Jimbo for arranging this day.

Also thanks to Andy, J, Rob, etc etc...

Mac

Excellent result!!

And well done once again to Rob & Stuart at Camberley Audi who seem to be building quite a reputation for excellent service and attention to detail.
