how do you guys remove the wheel nut caps? im struggling a bit trying to pry them off without damaging the alloy

You should have a special plastic tool in the wheel changing kit in the boot to do that; looks like a big black pair of tweasers

ahhh nice - just got my jack and torque wrench today so wheels off at the weekend for a clean and coat with poorboys sealant - also a check on the DRC, im going to regret saying this but haven't had any issues on my 06 - fingers crossed.
