My RS4 didn't come with a Bluetooth module because I didn't order either of the Audi phone packages - because I wanted to keep the RS4 steering wheel which you can't do with either of the Audi options as they both replace the RS4 wheel with an MFSW.

Basically if you've got the RS4 steering wheel you haven't got a Bluetooth module (unless you've had it retrofitted).
Thats curious because Craig de-installed my dodgy cradle which leaves me hooking up my phone via BT and I have the RS4 steering wheel (as opposed to the MFSW)...which means the BT module was there from new...

I'm curious....how do I check if my RNS-E will support SDS?

My RNS-E part number is: 8E0 035 192 Q

and I'm running

HW: H73, SW: 0550.

Am I right in thinking only the H, N & R versions of the A4 B7 RNS-E support SDS?

If so, whats the work-around?

Thanks.

PS: MikeD,

The solution to your problem is to get the new "Q" version of the BT module. I recently had this installed in my A3 and the N95 will now (with the Nokia "Contact Downloads" application you can download from the Nokia WWW site) shuffle contact data across to the RNS-E.

However, whilst my wife's Samsung displays this contact data on the RNS-E directory with the appropriate "Firstname", "Lastname" fields, my N95 populates the directory with the numbers!

Which is bloody useless.

Yet to sort this out....anyone any ideas?

Bit of a longshot J but is one phone saving contacts to the simcard while the other is saving to phone memory?

Thats not it.

Both phones are using the phone memory.

I've got a thread running in navplus.us as well as on the Nokia boards looking for insight...
