Mine went to Cardiff Audi today to sort out a boot lid which get full of water when it rains, went to pick it up early (my falt get the day wrong) and they have it plugged in doing software upgrades, which I did not ask for and if the performace is altered I will chuck my Teddy and he's a big Bugger.
Will I be able to get them to reset it to the old software if I am not happy with the result?

Ta steve

AFAIK dealers do it using VAS (their VAG-COM equivalent), and some owners have tried disconnecting the battery (but I haven't seen any posts if that was successful or not).

As i understand it once the latest software is loaded Audi will not reflash it with an earlier version.

Ahh, that's why all the sheep I saw in Wales looked so nervous and always turned to face you.

Now now! don't knock it untill you've tried it

On the subject, the Car seems fine with the latest software, I don't think I would have noticed any difference if I was not looking for it, will report back if things change.
