In my experience, Shell V-power is the best fuel available at a reasonable price (ultimate 102 RON being the biggest rip off I've come across in many years).

In my Evo VIII MR, I had a detonation detector. The car was mapped for 97+ RON fuels. The fuel that kept the det detector firing to a minimum was V-power, while tesco 99 and ultimate set it off considerably. This was after several tankfulls to ensure repeatable results.

I just wouldn't risk it. Tesco 99 RON is cheaper for a good reason in my opinion and it is never going in any of my cars again. Ultimate is ok, but why would you...it is usually more expensive than V-power.
