it would improve the look of the one done, but kudos to them for building the first.

My mate own the s6 widebody also awesome but I agree with Mike a better colour could have been chosen, maybe the newer merlin pearlescent would have looked good.

I also agree with Mike for me the b5 widebody just works the best and I do prefer the look slighty
than the avant, maybe I'm biased

Good luck with the b6 certainly one I would never thought having doing lol
Hmm that colour reminds of cadburys milk chocolate!! Lol
Still a nice colour though.
I think we're thinking along the same lines, i mean thats how i found the one that they did although if i were to go through with it id go all out and do the engine etc along with all upgrades. Then your talking big money as the Base car(over here) is close to $30k then the RS4 etc; soon adds up.

i think this will have the B6/B7 community divided at the end of the day-Marmite, either love it or hate it! Lets see..

I'm still confused by this one, lol but hey ho. I get the wanting to be different and that's cool. The B6 is definately not as pretty as the B7, but hey everyone is different. Why would you use a S4 lump over the better, lighter, more powerful and higher revving RS4 engine though?

There's been quite a few ab6 wide bodies in the states too. One of whichever with a B5 V6 TT engine.

??? who said anything about using an S4 engine??? This started life as an RS4 complete with all the RS4 running gear. Its now benefiting from a JHM supercharger and chargecooler, smaller pulley(stage 1.5 kit), JHM 2.75"exhaust with no cats single rear box, flap delete, Limited Slip Diff, quick shift....the list goes on(i bought everything JHM sells for the B7 RS4 basically).

Granted the B7 is more aggressive but its common. Yes, there are a few widebody B6's but they are all trying to mimic the RS4 arches and body shape. Im just combining the best of both worlds.

So after a ton of prep work for the paint we finally laid down the first coats on all the non primary areas of the car. On Saturday we'll complete the body then followed by all the other parts such as the side skirts, door blades & handles etc

Bye bye Misano Red, Hello MB Cardinal Red! or blood red as some people call it.

Although you cant see it, the roof has been painted Audi phantom black; this is to follow through as the bonnet and boot are carbon fibre.

Will start putting the engine back on either sunday or monday.

The B6 and B7 chassis are the same just the panels are different. So everything bolts on bar the rear panels that need to be welded on, from the back doors to the front is all bolt on.

Ok, so we've used all the doors, both bumpers, wings, lights, rear quarter panels , boot and bonnet. Pretty much anything on the exterior.
