Yes thats exactly it, I think a lot of these do not even need much power. If nothing it will help arresting some of these people. Its not like it is a random crime, these guys know what they are doing and come prepared so has to be relatively small groups who target these seats in certain areas. First time my seats went the car was in quite a empty road that is overlooked by an estate, but this time round it was off a very busy road and anyone walking along that road would have been able to see something dodgy as well as, I would say 60 odd windows looking down on where the car was...couldnt have been more brazen!

I got offered a set of buckets from a chap I bought wheels from in essex, he dosn't own and rs4 but sent me a pic of them, pm if needed can send a pic of them to identify.

I'm so sorry to hear you have had this happen twice, it happened to me once and that was bad enough. I'm in SW London and like you had to park the car away from the house, got a call from the local plod at work one morning to say the car had been turned over and could I come home to tidy up all the glass left on the pathway.
