If they want to write it off, I'm more than happy.

I don't want it back.

The car is going back to the dealer I purchased it from 7 weeks ago once it is released, they knew the car was absolutely perfect. I have pictures of brakes and suspension they took before I purchased it.
Brakes, clutch, flywheel, engine codes, subframe, exhaust, wheels, shocks, springs, wishbones etc etc will all be inspected and replaced accordingly. The insurance Company have already agreed to this. Once a qoute comes in, they'll decided what to do.

Then it's the obvious stuff,
Windows, new passenger door skin, mirrors, wheel (I won't accept refurbished/repaired wheels) rear light, new front bumper, all door cards removed, along with seats so all the glass fragments can be removed completely.

Shall we take guesses on the parts price list, before labour?

Not a nice story , but get the car back . New Glass and door . let them refurb the alloys etc . try and keep the costs down , once done it will be perfect again and not nice that some <beep> head should be able to ruin your toy .

Hope he gets more than a slap on the wrist !!!

That bill will be about the same as you buying a suitable replacement. Dealership labour is expensive. A new bumper on it's own is near on £700. Let alone what new wheels must be.

I would not accept it back. Surely it would be classed as stolen on the HPI check. That'll automatically de value the car.

Gutted for you.

Sorry to hear about your car.

Strangely enough, I was in The Alps this weekend with 10 other friends and one of them (Matt) has said a friend was planning to join us for the drive home on Monday but his RS4 got stolen. Wasn't you was it?
