Take all the plastic covers off and one of the nuts per wheel should be a locking nut. Removal tool should be in the wheel bar plastic storage box in the boot floor.

change rear diff oil

Mine came with locking nuts when I picked it up new from Camberley Audi.
birdiemachine wrote:2. The wheel nut covers, can you get these from audi the paint is peeling off a few of mine.
The wheel nut covers that came with mine are black plastic things that just push over the nuts.

Stoke Audi have quoted me for the 3DVD 2015 map DVD set:

So I got a (genuine Audi) set off eBay for just over €220 instead :biggrin2:

I'll get you one in the morning when I'm on the way to work. I bought it from a seller on eBay from Germany it just clicks onto the cradle in the car. I really like it! I'll keep you posted Image

Cheers Dave. Can't get over the price of the new sat nav discs! That is crazy. Do they ever turn up cheaper than that on eBay?

iPhone 5 Cradle - like this -> http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Brand ... 2a3d4117de

Simply clicks onto the 'orrible dash phone mount and actually makes it useful. Provides Bluetooth phone connection and power / recharge to the phone. Does not stream music...

I got one cos it was a clean solution to making use of the ugly phone mount and now I wouldn't be without it.

Here you go. I like it, has a mid 2000's functional feel to it.

Got some new tpms sensors, bargain off eBay!

The current ones are working fine and I've heard these can give grief as they get older, getting new rubber all round on Friday so going to get them to stick these in. Does the car automatically recognise the new ones or do I need to do a bit of jiggery pokery with vcds?

Well done, next ebay purchase - an Owners Manual

TPMS can be reset through the steering wheel controls/menu system, select wheel change and it'll do the rest.

They're always (much) cheaper than that on eBay - just make sure you get a genuine Audi DVD and not a copied one though (some eBay sellers do their best to "hide" that they are selling copies), if the price looks too good to be true then it's a copy.

And if you never go outside the UK you can always just buy the single DVD that covers Western Europe (which includes the UK)...

Got these today, such a job as it was trying to find the older "sd" format to work in the Rns. My whole music collection is 5gb so these should keep me covered for a while.

Got 4 Michelin pilot super sport for 760 quid fitted balanced and the tpms installed, pleased with that!

Ownership update :

- 4 new Michelin super sport fitted

- gave up with the sd cards, whatever I do the Rns only recognises them as 380mb cards, very frustrating.

- drc - have read all the threads on here but can't figure out what's going on, one minute the backs knocking then the front right then left, when the car is warm it goes away, doing my head in : ( have it booked in Friday and have told them if it's goosed we are going to put some ohlins dampers in or else kw v3's.

- bought some milltek non res centre sections, my car currently is gutted pre cats, sports cats and res cat back, hoping it won't be too loud but a bit more vocal.

Still loving the car but if any of you learned gentlemen can advise me on any of the above i would be very grateful!
