Nice work, Footers. I've just PM'd Trups to get some for mine, too.

Luckily the sport button never worked when I put the buckets in so it saved me having to switch it off!

If I remember rightly the B7 comfort seats are an updated version of the ones in the C5 RS6 so they will feel quite similar I would have thought?

And you can put the £1500 profit from the seat swap towards that supercharger.......

Nah, the RS4 comfort seats are completely different to the RS6 ones. And just as well. The RS6 seats are poo for holding you in.

This thread really makes me want a B7 RS 4. Got a lot of time for these, even if they are slow. :P

Agreed. The B6 S4 seats, which I assume are B7 RS 4 comforts are so much better than the C5 RS 6 ones which never felt right IMO.

Not loving the Dectanes on these but I saw some on here that looked lovely. I love the In.Pro lights on my 6 but haven't seen anything from them for these.

Neilparf, would prob want to see a comparison pic at that price but I am game for a laugh as Cree LEDs are the the "Bidness", in the words of Mr.T.

I was surprised by that because they look very similar at first glance.

But you are right enough, the seat bases on the B7 ones look quite a bit longer which must make all the difference....... (quite appropriate really given the thread originators username) plus I have never actually sat in seats fitted to a really fast car before :-)

Surely most of you RS6 jockeys can just brace yourselves in place with your redundant left legs?

My old ones plus some from autotrader:

I use a CG lock in mine to try to reduce bum-slide. The RS4 comfort seats give much more support. They look a bit similar in the photos, but in reality they are a very different experience.

I wonder if anyone on here is mad enough to consider a trade? Might need to actually consult woman on this but she feels bad for having a car that I can't drive comfortably.

Yeah, fair one mate.

I know a guy that had a similar experience whilst working in Thailand...... the lady-boy looked a bit similar in the photos, but in reality he was a very different experience!

So always try before you buy.......... no that does not really work either........

My mate swore by her CG Lock and she was running the gripper pro-back seats in her Elise.

I sometimes wish I had went for alcantra centre sections on mine when I had the re-trim done.

What colour are your seats Mr Footlong? If they are black you should have no trouble shifting them on.

I have the comfort seats in mine. Only an S4 but the same seats. I will be going to the Ide Hill meet and if your local your more than welcome to come have a sit on them to see if they are any better for you. Also do those cree bulbs work without errors?

Those CREE bulbs are error free - they are Trups cancellers with these CREE LED's dropped in and no errors...

They are indeed blick /Afrikaans.

Bar some niggles with the rear number plate LED units that are/have been ironed out, I believe that Trups is pretty well there with the works. Cannot argue with the prices at all either as they were very good and it saves me all the hassle of doing it myself like I did on the 6.
