BMW Z4M Coupe.....

I have an MC in the garage which doesn't do many miles these days as the RS4 is my daily and we have ankle biters too. I really ought to sell it but can't quite bring myself to, as when I do take it out I'm reminded what a special motor it has and that it's such an involving experience.

I did use it daily for a year or so, and it can do this role pretty well being just the right side of too hardcore for its own good! Michelin Pilot SS tyres improved the grip, ride and handling significantly and mine had an AC Schnitzer exhaust and strut brace fitted from new by the supplying dealer. Works fine as an occasional track car as well although the seats don't offer much lateral support and I would change them if you'd go to a track regularly.

If you're thinking about it I reckon the time to buy is now as I doubt they'll drop much more, esp. low milers and there's talk of them being quite collectable in future with only 550 bought to the UK when new.

There is far too much talk going on of how the z4mcoupe is quite hairdressery, I sort of new this anyway but it is now confirmed! I know image shouldn't put me off, it should be the driving experience that matters, but call me fickle, image has to be taken into consideration. Graeme, I have always been tempted by an e92 m3, but the dog cant go in the boot, thats what I like about the RS avant and the reason I was considering the z3 & z4 m coupes. Notice I say was.......having deliberated for the last few days and listened to comments on here, good and bad, I think i have decided to keep the RS, its such a sorted car and does everything I need pretty much perfectly. Will upgrade the wife's 02 polo to a mk5 golf and that will keep her quiet! Although I will be keeping a close eye on B8 RS4 prices.....
