Scorian, you thought about using a car sourcing place. That's where I got mine and haven't looked back since. They have been great with after sales care as well and I keep making changes on the car through their contacts making it cheaper to run than using unproven guys for things. I have just if usher finalising a re trim of the interior seats at their specialists while I am away with work.

Problem is, you'll pay for that cover with (when I was looking anyway) a premium of _at least_ £5-6k over regular trade or private.

You could get a separate warranty (admittedly prob harder to get money out of them) for something like £600 iirc and bank the rest as a servicing fund :)

If you can get one for that price then you should go for it, admittedly I did pay 'over the odds' for mine which if my warranty doesn't cover makes me very naive. But if it does (fingers crossed) money well spent

www.proveeda.com

Tell them you were recommended by Gareth buddy and see what they say.

They have a few cars on their site but they mostly source cars for lease and sale. They deliver to anywhere in the country so if your not local that's not really an issue. Two other lads on here that I know of have bought S5's off of them. LTDemps is one and I imagine will also vouch for them too.

Oh no, did you just say bulletproof and not bombproof? Bam Bam just leave it or we'll be talking about cups of tea and tea-bagging again!

Well after viewing and driving stuffedbeavers RS4 today - It firmly appears that the one I test drove earlier was a complete wrong-un which had clearly not been loved.
The one I drove today was absolutely pure class and left me with a mahoosive grin - I was left with no choice except to buy it.

I really appreciated everyone's feedback and thoughts ETC - a real community here.

Expect photo's next week of what is a very well specc'd and obviously loved RS4 AVANT. Tuesday can not come soon enough for me to seal the deal :blackrs4:

Noyjatat wrote: As an everyday car it's fantastic and can be enjoyed with three friends in the car, four at a squeeze. It's deceptively nimble for its size, it's quick without slapping the back of your head into the headrest and will go all the way to the limiter without missing a beat. The engine has a lovely kick where you would expect fade, the exhaust is a smooth noise that attracts positive looks rather than grumbled scorn at its volume and tone, it's comfortable, hugely forgiving, it blends into traffic but car lovers know one when they see one. It looks lovely as it comes without needing to flex harsh body lines, sticky out exhausts or bonnet vents. It's still a sleek predator on the road even now, it's the panther of cars. Yes there's lions and tigers out there and there always will be but it's very hard not to love the RS4 and what it is. It's a car to be enjoyed by everyone that rides in or drives one!

Just in case it wasn't obvious I LOVE mine to bits :D

Well said!

Wouldn't have thought that was legal or advisable?

So which one of your kids is the one you don't love sufficiently to give a seatbelt to(is it always the same one, or do you spread the risk around so that they don't get a complex)...or do you have a cunning plan?

Pray tell.

I think he has a four kiddies child seat. basically it is one unit that takes up all 3 back seats but has 4 individual child seats built in. Pretty good idea. I remember seeing a photo of it once.
