Total fob-off letter the gits.

I honestly believe that the DRC problems will well and truly bite Audi on the bottom one day and I can't wait.

Here is what really annoys me though. I have contacted BBC Watchdog on so many occasions, that I've now lost count. It gets me so insensed that they are constantly featuring cars on their programme but still haven't contacted me regarding ours. Hell, they haven't even sent a reply back to me in any way, shape or form. Over the last couple of years they have featured the following car stories:

BMW Mini power steering failure
Vauxhall Vectra 2.2, Signum 2.2, Zafira 2.2 fuel pump/regulator problem
Nissan Navara D22 engine failure problem
Ford Focus instrument cluster failure problem
Volvo XC90 catching fire problem (I'd call that a problem)
Vauxhall Vectra handbrake releasing itself whilst there is no-one in the car problem
Vauxhall Corsa catching fire prob...(disaster)
Vauxhall (several models) Idler wheel in engine problem
Volvo ETM (electronic throttle management) and sudden loss of power problem
Renault Clio bonnet catch problem - bonnet flies open and smashes windscreen, leaves you blind (this was a major problem featured over several weeks)
And who can forget the Audi TT dashpod problem - so they do feature Audis(!)

As you can see from that list, BBC Watchdog have featured (in the voice of Commandant Lassard from Police academy) many, many cars on their programme, including as said above, the Audi TT. Now I appreciate that they would only cover a story on-air only if enough people get in touch. They may very well have a few people on their books that have contacted them about the DRC issues, but clearly not enough. I urge all of you reading this with an Audi RS4 or RS6 that has/is suffering from DRC related failures to contact BBC Watchdog, so that we can finally get across our plight, via the BBC, to not only Audi, but raise awareness of this problem to the entire country. The DRC failure contributions threads in the RS4 and RS6 sections on here now total well over a hundred and that is just on here. Imagine how many owners there are with problems that aren't a member of this board. Please please please, visit the BBC Watchdog 'got a story' page so that we can at least get their attention. To all those thinking "Yeah yeah, can't be arsed, they'll never feature our cars.." take another look at the list of featured cars above (live on-air remember) and think to yourself if they can feature a Volvo with an ETM fault, then surely they can feature a top-of-the-range Audi with one of the most expensive faults in Watchdog car history. Not just that, but an Audi that relies very heavily on it's sports suspension that has been developed specifically for our cars; suspension so vital, that the slightest leak, loss of pressure, mismatched height, incorrect recharge pressure, compromise in any way, results in a car that has it's road safety and others' road safety compromised. The comfort - compromised. The overall driving experience - compromised! Should we be putting up with that? HELL NO!!!
With over 100+ people with the same issue and more on other sites Audi has to do something

All click Watch dog link and see what we can do

What are those part numbers supposed to be? They are not Audi part numbers, so you can't order them from an Audi dealer....

Audi part numbers are of the form nxn nnn nnn x, and for our cars are 8E0 nnn nnn x - so those are not a part number that you will find on ETKA...

I suspect I may have a faulty OSF shock as it's banging on the out stroke when I go over speed bumps (slowly) :(

Watchdog, BBC1 monday 30th, Please could anybody having 'issues' with their DRC text into the show. We are trying to get some sort of 'media' coverage for our plight as Audi really do not want to admit anything. Maybe the 'weight' of watchdog to our cause will assist us.

Details for the text in are as follows:

Write to Watchdog
You can write to us, at Watchdog, MCG A6, Media Centre, Wood Lane, London W12 7TG.

Text Watchdog
While the programme is live on air (between 7.30pm and 8pm on Mondays), you can text your comments and thoughts to us. Start your message with the letters WD and send it to 83199. Texts are charged at standard rates.

PLEASE can every one who is able to text in do so, the more people we have on this the more chance we have got in getting them to fight our cause for us!.

Everyone has had enough of DRC issues and Audi's crap view on this i.e " Sorry sir there is no Known issues with DRC across our brand" BS BS BS BS

So if you had a DRC issue whether you paid or under warranty then TXT in on MOnday

I have been following this thread for a while now and find it very interesting. Although i don 't have the dreaded DRC worries (B5 RS4) i would still be happy to text watchdog if it will help. Who knows i may have the B7 RS4 or a RS6 in the future and it would be nice to think that the problem will be sorted before then
