Well as it was a nice day and I haven't driven the old girl this week due to being away with work thought it would be rude not to pop down. Any excuse...... :blackrs4:

Was a good way to spend a morning.

Nice to meet you Louie, glad you are happy with the mods, look forward to the full write up.

Good to meet you also Gaz, your car is seriously loud mate!!! Going up that slip road to the A13 / M25 it just sounded savage! Love what you have done to the inside and under the bonnet, looks amazing.

Scaghead, your car looking mint as ever mate, did it get another wash once you got home :)

Keep us posted on the RR session.

Cheers

Sorry to hear about the teething problems Louie.

Cheers Ed good to meet you too buddy. Figured I would stretch her on that slip road and under the motorway overpass as the road was clear. The map means she is pretty quiet low end to not upset the neighbours. That soon changes under load though hehe, surprises a few people :D and gives me a big grin!

Thanks Gaz.....Yeah teething probs but it will get sorted out next week.
Your description of your map sounds very similar to how I would describe mine with the De Cat pipes and Milly non res no valves. As you say it purrs low down and my son actually commented that it sounds almost like a standard car until, as you say you hit the loud pedal and then it becomes a growling monster!!!!

Well Mr T is now at Valet Magic having his wheels re-furb'd and a nice engine detail and shine. Was greeted by Ian & Robbie and sat chatting for an hour over a few cups of coffee. Great customer service from these guys and Ian even dropped me to the station. So re-assuring to have quality and enthusiastic chaps looking after and working on ya pride and joy!! Got Robbie to take some b4 and after pics of the engine so we can compare the difference.

Have a look at their Facebook page link below.....Mr T is next to an R8 that's in having wheels re-furb'd as well and Robbie will post more pics as the day progresses/

Popped in on Robbie @ Valet magic today as needed something out of the car. Was greeted by Robbie who showed me to the car and I took one look at the engine and said "wow that looks sooooooo clean"......Robbie advised that it was only 1/3 complete :bigblink: . Here are some pics of the completed job> I have yet to see it in the flesh as get the car back tomorrow with re-furb'd wheels and one other "subtle" mod that Mr T was crying out for but it looks REEEEEEEEEEEEEEM :biggrin3:

I don't see the carbon bits Louie...there best not be the contents of a matt black rattle can being sprayed over them :bash:

Looks lovely and clean though, hope you took a before shot. I reckon that a subtle mod for you would mean be a little bit of bling - R8 caps :?:

No matt black cans this time Sam :bigblink:

Indeed R8 caps will be fitted and the CF parts refitted together with the r/h bottle cover which will all now tie in with the grey CF of the revolution air intake box and not that pissy yellow looking CF colour....sorry that looks wrong :audibash:

Also to finish off the exterior aesthetics some magic was performed by Robbie & the boys @ Valet Magic

Nice! Any idea how much the wrap alone would cost? And how long does it take them to do it?
