+1

I'm with toshers on this - all black is just SOOOOOOO boring, I reckon Audi got the balance between black and bling spot on on a Phantom Black RS4.

Well today I shot over to AmD in a LWB transit and collected the OE exhaust. Going to hang in the garage tomorrow as bought some heavy weight hooks so just need to bolt to the wall.

Work is progressing well with Mr T and I managed to get a couple of pics. Ben is taking a load with my digi cam so will post once I have Mr T back. :beerchug:

Afternoon chaps,
Had a call from Ben first thing this morning. Everything on the car is done :jump: .......but a problem has occurred  . Yesterday afternoon Mr T was on the Dyno being tested out as per the normal process after a re-map. At full chat one of the shafts on the dyno let go....BOOOOOOOOOOOOM :bash: :bash: :bash:

No damage to car or human fortunately. Ben was straight on the phone to the company in Italy who make the unit and they expressed the parts to AmD which were received first thing today, however the twats didn't send all the parts :knob: :bash: :bash: :bash: :knob:

Im collecting him tomorrow at 9am as traffic around that part of the world on a Friday evening is worst than sticking pins in ya eyes!!!

So basically I will take Mr T back next Saturday (14th) to get the Dyno runs sorted out. Its actually not a bad thing as it will allow me to drive the car for a few days and also let the suspension settle a bit, so at least they can then give the car a final once over as it would have covered some miles by the time its back to them Saturday week.

Car is going in to Valet Magic on Monday and Robbie is re-furbing all 4 wheels in Matt Anthracite (see I don't want it ALL black!!!) and also doing an engine detail. Will be with him for 2 days. I will complete the body work detail myself as I actually gave it a 3 stage Auto Finesse polish last Saturday and its come up great, however after putting it under florescent lights there are some minor scratches still present so I have purchased a compound polishing head and some Scholl S3 compound paste and will give the car a total polish and then auto finesse again. Will look fab after that as its looking great now so will be further enhanced! :kissmyrings: :kissmyrings:

Once its all done I will post pics together with some that Ben took while the car was at AmD :beerchug:

i'd be interested to see some before and after pictures of the engine bay detail.

particularly some closeups of the block (assuming yours is grubby) as mine is in need of cleaning (the block) and i'd like to see just how clean it can be got with the right products and the right person doing it (not me)

No worries Will. I'll take some shots tomorrow and then once its back from Robbie on Wed PM. I've seen him do a BMW M5 engine that was the dirtiest engine bay I have ever seen and when it came out it looked like new!! £60 inc VAT....that's a stee :bigblink:

Should be fingers Crossed. It is just the rear roller that has failed, front is still fine so they can run FWD drive cars and RWD cars if they reverse them in. :bigblink:

Mine is back in on the 21st as the guy that's been doing all the work is away with the AmD BTTC team next weekend,

Glad the car is becoming what you wanted buddy.

Some stuff I am a fan of others not so much. Won't say which as it doesn't matter as long as your happy with everything.

Thank you will be interested to see the results....

- Robbie is very good - he refurbed all my wheels, did full paintwork correction and some rear tints for me earlier in the year :D

A few before and after pics of the carbon clean :biggrin3:

Filthy ports @ 58k but now SMOKING CLEAN. Got several cans of Wynns Petrol EGR3 and will give a blast every few thousand miles, however @ £500 a pop I reckon its worth getting done every 2 years with each service :thumb:

Agree Paul. I too have seen worst and I guess its testament to how the car has been driven by the 2 previous owners :biggrin3:
