withou turning this TOOooooo political- i though obama was the man to do this? He is certainly a great orater, nad captivated most of us over here- lets face it the donkey we have in charge at the moment has the charisma of a tombstone and I think we wish for an obamesque leader and someone who will bring some common sense back into politics as well as some honesty.

he needs cooperation, things do seem to be turning though
the market is up 20% in 1 year iirc
GM paid their loan off 5 years early and the gov still owns 60% of them
the bank bailout projected at 500 bil cost <100, and the gov made money on it
Iraq/'Stan, still a mess, but we are drawing down
healthcare passed, watered down, but it's a start
housing seems to be turning around
unemployment is slowing, if not turned yet
financial regulation is next, and it looks like it will pass
our opinion in the world is being mended, got a ways to go, but much better than 1 year ago

for 1 year, not too bad...

last two pages of this thread have been very srs like.. can you fellas keep the nothing talk srs style over there, and keep this as was.. cheers dudes..
