Public gallery now up

Post by MartWilliams » Sun Nov 29, 2009 3:59 pm

OK, I've uploaded the public gallery now, go here http://martwilliams.zenfolio.com/f522004498

Just to re-iterate, if owners want to download their full size images they will need to use the owners gallery and have the password, if you download from the public gallery you will only get small resized images, with, in some cases the number plates rubbed out.

A quick random selection for you all

Ditto - thanks for organising Jim and thanks for the pics Mark.
Thought for the moment...

...if some mindless ASBO keys your car as happened to my previous S4 then stay positive...they may have had a moments glory in front of their mates but they only did it because they're jealous of you being able to drive it every day! Who drives wins!

Firstly a huge thanks to Jim for organising another superb day, and for Paramount for running it so well, and the numerous cups of coffee

After the remap I gained 10 bhp, I am going to go back to Paramount for a re-run and then I will post the outcome, but also to determine how much a factor oil is I will change the oil/filter and then re-run the car again at paramount as soon as convenient.

Jim, so glad you did not get rid of your car, it’s awesome, looking and sounding very good at the moment

Mark, let me know if you seen any net gain after putting a few miles on the clock, I will post back here / PM

Pictures look superb as well.

cheers

Some very interesting results here folks! How many of the B7 RS4s are tuned etc??

Not worried about them not showing 420bhp (or whatever) as IMHO that's all about 4wd and the 60:40 split of power etc. Now I know the white one has had a few bits done from sig but what about the others? How many are standard?

PS - Love the exhaust on the white RS4 looks amazing :D

Love those pics - what "effects" did you use to get that look?

Various, but mainly it's a partial desaturation and increase in contrast and increase in micro contrast and changes to highlight, mid tone and shadows contrasts separately. I use Nikon Capture NX for editing and I have a set of plug-in filters for it so it's a question of picking combinations of these and adjusting sliders to get the desired effect.

I think the main 2 filters I used were called Bleach bypass and Tonal Contrast and sometime Contrast colour range, all from a package Color Efex Pro 3 by Nik Software. I believe they do the same plug-ins for photoshop, as well as a brilliant black and white conversion plug in.

It's also a treatment that can work well on portraits/people photography too as it gives a different look that isn't too unreal and somehow looks right.

Regards

Martin
