My B6 Supercharged Stage 1+ RS4 build thread...

Front bumper now coming along. Will not have fog lights, rather leave it open with ducting. Will use resistors so that I don't get CEL.



Chargecooler rad brackets now fab'd and fitted. Next up is the pump wiring- need to make so that it can be quick release for when the the rad pack needs to come off.

Everything is such a super tight fit so having to modify hoses etc to fit. There is literally no room with the chargecooler, tank and KN.

Still some long days ahead to finish this.

@pule333 there is so much you can do to these cars. I reckon I could easily spend another $10-15k on other parts, stereo etc.
Right now with Christmas around the corner I just want to finish the car.

Its coming together well and looking good, have to say I would have incorporated the RS4 side fins to keep in keeping the RS4 theme even though its going to look more b6.

Good Morning, Dave - I hear what you're saying but I want to keep the B7 influences to a minimum. Bear in mind this supposed to be a B6 RS4 albeit modified to the hilt.

This is uncharted territory where I'm standing.

Anyways, front seats now painted. We are doing the side pieces in 2x2 carbon fiber in a diagonal pattern. It'll look like each seat has an arrow.
Service parts from Recaro arrive tomorrow so by Thursday I'm hoping we can put the interior back the car.

Pushing today to get the engine running but we all know how these things go...

Seat backs look fantastic, but getting back to the vents just for a second and it dose not mean I don't like what you've done I was just saying the vent are a RS4 theme from the b5 to the b7 although dropped in the b8 but would have tied it altogether so it was not just a S4 on steroid.

At the end of the day this is your project and I can honestly say I've loved the whole thing.

Liking this build!!
If you haven't already, make sure the oil cooler and pipes/connections look ok - a common failure that many of us have suffered over the years.
If you were to replace it, you'd need the stock one with updated pipes as the Forge aftermarket kit goes where your chargecooler is...

@mike if you can see the huge braided hoses in any of the picks. That's uprated kit.
