Very happy to recommend 5star transport. I got them through DannyRS4 and he's used them lots. Very good service all round and easy to deal with. Oh, and they are very good on price too Spent about an hour (!) speaking to the driver on Monday and they transport lots of 'nice' cars all over the country every day, Ferraris, Lambos etc. so they are used to handling decent stuff.

Initially I thought it was expensive but once you work it all through and consider; fuel costs to get there(and back home once done), transport costs to get home (and back to pick the car up), the miles on the car, and your time travelling, it definitely makes sense to transport.

Iain

My car was picked up on Monday afternoon so should be there now.

Your mods sound sensible and should certainly give you a noticeable improvement for the outlay. Unfortunately a supercharger is the only way at the moment to get a really serious increase in performance in a B7 RS4 but they really are still far too expensive IMHO.

Insurance is through Keith Michaels PlC, they used to insure my 22B and are really good with modded motors.

Yes have owned the car over 4 years now and always said I would leave her be, but after dyno results at 367ps I have changed my mind and why not anyway hey!

With these mods etc I expect the car to get back from 367 past 417 and up to around 430-440ps, which is going to be a noticeable difference I reckon. Thanks for the HU on the ins though. Good luck with your TTS, what you will need next is a modified bonnet with a window display like the R8 to show it off! Thats what i would do anyway.....

Ok, there's going to be no keeping up with you over the Cairn if I ever manage to make it out again on a NE Scotland run. Well done!!!!!

I really dont mind if i sell or keep, its the charger i really want to make me keep it but just dont have the funds for a new one.

I'll keep looking but untill then im sure i'll keep finding little bits to do lol.

It doesnt help having 4 friends with supercharged ones that all love to keep reminding me

buy a used one maybe?

PES M112 units are not great, but not terrible. Lots of guys who went this route have upgraded so they often pop up used (AVOID THE M90 though...waste of time on an RS4)

APR TVSr1320 units should also start popping up for sale now that we've got TTS delivering far greater gains...and Aviva in the US is about to release a TVSr1900 kit for 7,000 pounds...and JHM is about to release a Vortech kit for the same money...and APR is about to release an upgraded TVSr1900 kit for the RS4.

Plenty of ways to supercharge on a budget if the TTS is too big of a hit.

I'm getting excited and it's not even my car!

That's a fairly big looking radiator for the supercharger! I'm surprised the one behind cools adequately, especially since the auxillary radiators are deleted for the cold air flow.

I can't remember your setup pre-charger. Did MRC want downpipe and cat back upgrades? What about the cold air feed?

Is that front-mount intercooler a new thing or has it always been a part of the TTS SC package?
No matter where you go, there you are.
