Look, I'm not a grammar Nazi and I'm not out to ridicule anyone BUT I am abrupt and devoid of tact.
Now that's all explained away, I'll get back to being me again: go and take a look at api330's post above, it is one singular sentence! That's quiet a feat... a true eye-wrecker and brain-masher. Still, I read it, and it shows how I respect people who contribute.

Microdots are on my top ten favourite things in the world, shame it's been far too long since I've partaken, it's not the kinda thing you just stumble upon these days... and you're right, it is waaaay off-topic.

out witht he old and in witht henew...

I bought my RS4 after selling my (Australian) Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) GT-P - a 5.4L quad cam V8, tweaked to 500hp.

It was powerful, loud and fast, but, nowhere near the sophistication and ease of the RS4 - havent regretted the change for one second!

Nothing subtle about that Falcon, does it run a Cleveland V8? I remember them being 4.9L (302cu) or 5.8L (351cu) and not 5.4L (???cu), very intrigued, I might consult Mr. Google.
I love the screaming FPV in6s, more room for a bigass turbo too. That said, I'm Holden man, through and through.

Have heard here that when the FPV typhoons were first out the guys tuning them said they were incredibly strong engines and the boost could be dialled up to silly levels. Driveshaft shearing levels were relatively easy to reach. No idea if true but it makes me want to try one, be a nice family 'sleeper'.

Yeah, there was an Aussie on here with a 1100hp Falcon Ty-hoon ute on LPG. 1100hp in a platform with a light rear-end. Mental.

bam_bam, the 4.9 and 5.8L were old school OHV engines.

Ford Australia switched to the US made 5.4L (327cu.i) quad OHC (Boss) engine in 2002 In mine it was stock with 290kW (389hp) and 520Nm (384 lb-ft) and mine had been tweaked up to 385kW

really?
The throttle response of the standard RS4 seems woeful and one of it's most disappointing features. Have you driven an M3? Also, the pedals are also too far apart for quick heel n toe as they are spaced for wellies.
