My main issue with these is the large black gap between the two halves of the LEDs. It breaks up the pattern too much.
Shame.

I am interested to know in the LHD lights work without the error codes, as per Dectane's comments... I bet they have the same issues...

Shame.
If you've ever handled a set of avant tail lights you'll realise there isn't any width in that part of the assembly to put anything there. That's why most avant lights are similarly designed, not sure about saloons. Oh and the gap isn't black, it's red in my case (it's the red & clear version).

PS. Nice photochop

Here are the RA16LR red crystal in the dark, I'll try and take daytime shots at some point to show how they look, but certainly not chav as Silas suggests.

They are different to the ones above beacuse the fog light is within the sidelight cluster and the indicator clusters are different shape and LED as are the fog lights. The only bulb that is not is the reverse one. I took a long time to choose which ones in light formation and when off looked as OEM as possible.

I think the clear look very 'Lexus' and thats whats spawned every boy racer/modder buying them for there cars, but to each there own ;)
By 'clear' I was referring to the tint in the lense, ie not smoked. The reason I've not purchased anything like this up until now is purely because I'm not convinced they look OEM enough for me personally. The 'Luxus look' couldn't be further from what I want.

There are two things I'd like to achieve with the tail lights though, a more modern LED look akin to the newer generation Audi family, and the removal of the orange indicator colour from the back of the car. Nothing is doing it for me yet though.

PG yours look much better than the ones above, as the banding of the lights are more balanced, it's a shame they don't make the rear lights like my wife's s3 sport back with a continual band of light or maybe they do?
