Re: More goodies for the RS
Nice one Sonny. Will look forward to the pics, and the write up of how they differ from the OEMs.

Re: More goodies for the RS
Cheers for the replie guys, Iv been busy over the weekend so have not had time to fit them, also had to confirm fitting instruction as well. Instructions say 20 amp fuse to be fitted in fuse box, batteries to be unplugged for 10 min to drain airbag sensors and also have to fit the airbag plug connection (come supplied) so its not a direct swap, there is a bit of faffing around involved (more of an arse covering exercise in ace the airbags are deployed). Fear not they shall be in after Le Mans, but not for tomorrow.
The PP feel great, I went for the fabric option as it offers more grip than the leather. There very light, at around 7kg, the frames push the weigh up double.

More goodies for the RS *Pole positions now in with pics*
Just finished putting the pole positions in, must say I like a lot. The main difference is the driving height, im sitting about an inch higher than I normally would, I can get used to that. I will report how well they hold me in o my next track day, or my 5 hour trip to Le Mans on Thursday.
I weighed both the OEM and PP seats on a set of digi scales. The OEM bucket driver side comes in at 24.2kg and the PP with frame complete 14.1kg. so 48.4kg vs 28.2KGs, saving a 20.2kg. Not bad.
Again thanks to the revolution team for supplying the seats and frames and Doug at MRC for the airbag/wiring advise.
OK here's some ultimate pic whorage.

Rear leg room is a lot better than OEM, tonnes of room.

Arty farty shot

..and always keep your work area tidy.

Well done for getting them in before Le Mans - hope they're comfy on the long drive.
Will be interesting to hear your thoughts on the differences with the OEM buckets.....

Dave rgr that.
Mac, err yes well for the summer at least. I have 18'' track day wheels to go on yet (next week when they arrive) and also I am going to make a heat shield for the GruppeM as well as a CAF. Busy summer for the RS...lucky car.
