Although I prefer Avants, the saloon looks slightly better value and you're also £1k up on the p/ex valuation.

The images aren't of the actual car and I bet it doesn't have black optics

I had a look at this Avant about 3 weeks ago, its looks very tired when you get up close; the paint is marred/ swirled all over and obviously never taken care of, so you would need some paint correction, but depends how fussy you are about paint I guess. The seats are really saggy, the steering wheel is worn and the 'RS4' logo on it is part worn away; The Carbon inlays are all scuffed and marred. The discs were shot when I looked at it and all rusty, may have been standing and they have replaced them now. Plus I didnt like the trader, seemed like abit of a shark and the whole thing didnt seem right for mesoi walked away. But everybody has to make their own judgements and come to their own informed decisions.

Bloody hell cheers all!
TBH the Avant trader seemed a bit of a wheeler dealer. Spoken to Marv Hannam @ Bournemouth and they assured me it is the actual car and I'll have the right arse if I get all the way down there and it isn't.

This is worrying as he told me he'd only had it a week?

Sorry, which Avant? Salisbury or Park Royal?

If it is then why does it have 06 spec and the trees are in full bloom as in the summer?

My point exactly and as I said yesterday they seem VERY keen to do a deal. He insists it's immaculate, has clear indicators and the bluetooth is a professionally fitted Parrot system. That will no doubt repeat on me.

You could ask him to email some new photos of the car to you to check?

I am confused now.
Have they had it since the summer or is it a different car?

Its sounds like the saloon is the better of the two cars, only viewing will decide i suppose,it still sounds iffy as to wether its the actual cat in the pics though? It looks in tip top condition from the pics, I would also be very upset if it turns out to be a different car with scabby seats etc good luck,Sprint blue are faster though and look mean!!!
