Funnily I would never buy a car purely for the resale factor of the colour. Having owned a black car for 5 years prior to the RS (and we black is a hard colour to keep clean as most of us will know) I fancied the change. Colours on the list was Grey or Silver, I would consider Sprint blue.

I love the way Daytona Grey looks in certain light, it can almost seem to change colour.

The top three colours were, sprint blue daytona and black if i remember correctly a recent poll on here.My rs4 is sprint blue and i have Dolphin grey s line tdi that im very tempted to turn into an rs4 looky likey to keep the grin on my face while working.colour is personal but its popularity affects value massively.

I was fairly set on black with optic pack for my avant but having had a load of black cars recently was open to a change.

Sprint blue looks great but not my bag. Then I found my Daytona Avant with optic pack, anthracite wheels and factory privacy glass and it was love at first sight.... :D

I still love black/optic pack combo and think they look great and the only avus B7 avant I've seen looked superb.

Come to think of it, I don't think the car looks bad in any car TBH....

Thanks all some great discussions. I am torn now between Sprint Blue and Daytona.... I would want the Black optics pack as not a fan of chrome.

Does anybody have any pics please of an Avant (or saloon) in either of these colours with Black Optics. Cheers

Looking good :rocker:

I am thinking about viewing this on one Pistonheads http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2079659.htm is Daytona, but only thing not doing it for me right now is the chrome and the comfort seats. Is the Black pack available from dealers or was it factory fit only, any people found ways to black the trim - wraop it maybe? Again, wheels I guess these could be refurbed in the titanium colour but would prefer oem set if these are obtainable. Cheers

I'm not sure tbh mate, but sonny had it done recently. I'm sure he won't mind if you drop him a PM to find out.

My car is in with Rob at Camberley right now (just got off the phone and am getting new DRCs all round and firmware upgrade etc... :D :? ) and he mentioned last night what a pig of a job it is to 'install' the optik pack retrospectively....not a cheap option
