Ditto, BBS CH's have never appealed to me. Rather than HRE's; IMO a set of HRE Carbon's would just set that Ibis Avant off perfectly 22B

Each to their own.

Thanks for all the compliments guys.
Re the wheels, Obviously everyones tastes are different but I think if you saw them 'in the flesh' on the car you might change your mind! I've also got the original RS alloys in Anthracite which do look quite smart but I think the CHR's really do set the car apart. I might put a set of winter tyres on them and put the CHR's away for a few months. Alternatively I might just put the car away for the winter and use the Subaru instead.

Interesting that this thread has sparked quite a lot of comments on after market wheels. I’m about to refurb mine (again) and thought about having a mint set for best and keeping the standard one's for every day use.....and just to keep on thread, Ibis white looks the best. Jim's old car (and I use the term ‘old’ very loosely) is one of the best examples I've ever seen. All credit for getting you hands on that one N11LS_J

Girlfriend has a TTS in Ibis white and I think it makes the car

Ps I have a video of Jim’s car at the rolling road day if you want to PM me an email adress

I don't think so... i think the car would look better with RS6 alloys in anthracite, for some reason these ones make the wheel look very small... might be something to do with the car being white

Thanks Klauster.
When I first began to take an interest in RS4s I registered on this forum and it was after seeing your a pic of your car that made me lust after a white one, although I never really thought I would find one. However, after 'googling' around for a while for White RS4s I came across an old ad for my car when it was originally owned/sold by Shaks specialist cars and liked it so much I saved the pics from the ad!

I bought it from a guy in Edinburgh at 9600 miles and he had put on the Milltek and the wheels and tyres.
