For doing 71 in a 50 Thames Valley Police offered me either:
- 3 points plus £60 plus £80 to go on a 1/2 day driving awareness course (the most wasted 1/2 day I've ever had where some plonker said you MUST drive in 3rd gear in a 30mph limit - so if I sneeze I'll be going real fast before my eyes open again, what a tw*t!)
- a visit to the Magistrates court.
Ahhh i was done in a quattro ..................not a 6
an awareness course up here is only 15 mph over the speed limet!!!!!!!!! I didnt qualify as I was over but hey i was happy to take the fine am just glad I managed to get the car speed down to an accepatable fig.......otherwise I would have been in real big trouble !
