I'd refrain from WD40 - it's actually primarily a water dispersant (formula number 40) and isn't a great lubricant.
It can also act as a degreaser so can actually strip off any existing lubricant that is there.

That's great and the extra pictures are very helpful. I assume the price for the airbox base includes the operating diaphragm as well?

It does include the flap etc which I thought was quite good value.

I should have thanked SilverRS4 for the sticky which gave me the background info to have a prod around so thanks :thumbs:

Anyone know how much that air filter is from MRC?
