Sure next m5 will be V8TT (bmw has already engine. Will be same or similar as in x6m). Ortodox m6 or m5 owner would choose V10. Read some forums etc.

Sure but reving 5.0 to 8250 is quite different. :) Has to be V10. I drove Shelby GT500 (sure its prehistorical). Its 5.4 V8 and max rpm is around 6500 i think.

I agree. For everyday riding (living in central europe -> wet, sunny, snow) quattro is best.

Having quattro for almost 8 years, changing it for RWD would be exacting.

Try driving a M-series car in the wet without scaring yourself silly. Like a C63 perhaps?

I think most folk going for the RS4 appreciate what a difference Quattro makes.
