P_G & All - I spoke to someone at Audi who knows what they're talking about today. They have confirmed exactly what P_G has confirmed above. Whole process is about 8 hours. Mine's going in v.early Friday and I've been told I can have it back by 6.

I'll put a rain check on the last comment. Took it in at 7.45 on Friday. At 14.30 I got a phone call saying that they hadn't started it because they'd realised they need it overnight in the end of re-charge the system etc. Something I'd asked them mid-week and was assured that in and out in a day would be fine! So in terms of 'knows what they're talking about' - I now very much doubt it!

Grrrr!

I would have been impressed if they had managed it in a day. You may e better printing off this thread and taking it to them given there is circa 100+ RS4 owners on this forum who have had some element of their DRC replaced!

The difference you will notice when you get it back will be unbelievable.

Hopefully so, it seems to be flopping around a bit at the front now so maybe it's getting worse! Back in Tuesday. I've told them I don't want it back until it's 100% sorted. Still a brilliant car, even with this little problem a few of them seem to have!

Brooner, do you have the SS+ though because, for some reason, they look like they sit a little lower at the rear than at the front!

Brooner, for the avoidance of doubt, when I wrote SS+ I meant 'sports suspension plus' rather than 'standard set-up'. The RS4 saloons I looked at without the SS+ seemed to sit pretty evenly front and back.

Can anyone with standard suspension give Brooner a steer?
