Nope, they don't - but it would be pretty accurate!

coupe of chaps over on the S2 forum wrote to the DVLA and received accurate figures of how many RS2 was in the UK. so it can be done, I think there is a cost, however I could be wrong.
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

Could be difficult as the Avants will be listed under "Commercial vehicles" or "HGV" by the DVLA :biggrin3:
Mint Optic Pack saloon in Daytona Grey (Now sold)
B7 RS4 in Sprint Blue (Gone to a very good new home)
Evo V1 (wish i'd kept)
Numerous M3s

or move to Canada...only 188 B7 RS4s sold spread over a lot of real estate. I've only ever seen 2 other ones on the road in over 2 years driving the beast. Surprises me that Audi hasn't done better in Canada actually given the obvious traction advantages.

Well the DVLA have "outsourced" their information so Experian and some others now own the data, Experian have quoted £350 for the info, I'll see what other replies I get...

What I don't understand is that that is confidential information the DVLA have and how they are allowed to 'outsource' it without breaching data protection rules?

Of course I forget that when you apply for a licence from the DVLA you have no option but to sign their disclaimer allowing them to do what they like with your information as there is no option to opt out.

Criminal. Just like the Government that overseas it. And they wonder why the public are so apathetic nowadays.

They assured me its only the car data they "outsource" and not owner information.

That isn't right because they give out owner information to private car clamping companies for £3 a time so they can send legal letters to the unassuming public. There was a Watchdog article on this a couple of months ago.
