Is anybody aware of an alternative to the OEM rotors that people have tried? Either cheaper and the same quality or less chinese steel and a heftier price?

I've not tried these yet, but I shall do next time the front rotors need changing.

Thanks for this 8) They work out today at around £470 for a grooved pair, delivered to the UK.

Just as an update on this I managed to find a trsuetd source who can skim my warped front disks. Interestingly his commnet when I handed them over was that the disks were only pin mounted toegrther and not properly vaned so he could not see how the disks were sucking enough air inbetween to keep them cool.

Coupled to small size holes there is probably not enough airflow for cooling in them. Air flow around yes, but essentially you would have a cooler outer surface but hotter inner which is possibly why the warping occurs. He is going to have a look at them on a laser level to see which way they have warped.

The JHM ones may then be the solution.
