Thanks Jay,I'm sure MRC could diagnose the issue for you...
Have already spoken to Doug & a visit is on the cards soon.
Not sure how MRC would feel about this (and it could be seen as taking the p1ss), but you could visit MRC to possibly just give you a diagnosis of what the problem is and then go back to the dealer (or another dealer(!)) with the diagnosis report in-hand and prompt them for the necessary repair? (As a troubleshooter myself, know that sometimes you end up actually fixing/having to fix a fault as part of the diagnosis however, and I would feel a bit frustrated at having spent ages diagnosing a fault and then not following through with the necessary repair!). Failing that, just let MRC carry out the necessary repair and then possibly claim this money back later in small claims court on the grounds of incompetence. MRC are a well known and respected entity amongst the Audi fraternity so their work/testimonials should hold plenty of water in a courtroom.mac4RS wrote:The dealer is Ipswich Audi. They are the dealer that suggested I go to a Rolling Road - and now Audi UK say that such RR figs are just really a load of crap!
The e-mail from Audi UK said that because I directed my concerns to Audi Germany, this was the highest escalation that could be acheived.
So basically bye bye & gave me the contact to some motoring organisation to assist with disputes that cannot be resolved. Gave them a call - this was a problem that was outside their jurisdiction.
Hey, it's not the end of the world tho', have a lovely family etc, so not all bad![]()

PS To Audi UK I say, ''Take care of your reputation. It's your most valuable asset.
PPS I may have lost this battle, but I'm not going to lose the war...

Subsequent investigation has (I believe) fixed Oli & Klauster's problems - which incidentally were genuine, not a dyno error - so that just leaves Mac...
