Well, the day was a success for most I hope. The guys at Motoscope really do know their stuff and although from the outside it doesn't look like much, the equipment and service is spot on.
Thanks to all who came along, I'm sure graphs will be posted up soon but from memory the figures were;
caldy 424.6 bhp (AAS 200 cell cats full s/s exhaust + JD Eng. remap + air inbox deflap + cleaned inlet manifold)
P_G 396.8hp 312 ft lbs. (OEM + X-pipe) Max Power at wheels 302.2bhp @ 7,474rpm
Klauster 378.5 bhp (OEM
gogsyp 356.7 bhp (although we reckon his exhaust has a problem with vacuum lines) (OEM+ cleaned inlet manifold))
Mac-Logotech (2004 C5 RS6) (OEM + Mental supersprint full exhaust) 398.6 bhp and 450 ft lbs
Barometric was about 1015 - 1020 mBar and temp varied between 26 and 28 degrees celcius; all running tyres at 40 PSI front and 38 rears IIRC.
So in effect Klauster has gained 50bhp and I have gained 37 bhp since Paramount. Mac would have gained more but being Tiptronic it wasn't playing nice on the r/r and was hard to keep in line without it wanting to change up or down on its own.
Just as a comparison, when caldy had his car remapped by Jeroen the figure was 431.4bhp so pretty close. ArthurPE, sorry but the Dastek roads automically do corrected figures so we can't provide raw data but all runs were done in 4th. ince had a run in Sport and non -sport mode and the only difference was in extra torque in Sport but with the loss of about 2 bhp for 4ft lb gain.
Draw your own conclusions howevere I believe, caldy, Klauster, Mac and I are happy with the figures enough to believe the cars aren't underpowered. And gogsyp is taking his to have vacuum lines looked at before putting it back on again.
Correction factor is tabulated to be 100.9% to 101%

the numbers look good...
I would expect the modded car to be higher, 5% or so and this would apply to the others...
so without knowing the cf, it would seem that these numbers are in the rated range...
with the exception of the low number, something looks wrong
did he run on the other dyno day?
what gear?
was it corrected for atm P and temp?
those numbers look more representative, with the caveat, would like to see the cf applied...
450 lb-ft! ... stump puller

All runs in the RS4's were done in 4th as was the RS6 in Tip Sport mode. The Dastek road automatically corrects for atm p and temp and with each car it has a learning period based at 3000 rpm before the power runs are done and records from 2000 rpm+ to eliminate initial traction slippage.ArthurPE wrote:the numbers look good...

gogsyp didn't run at Paramount, however it was clear there was something wrong with his car because there was a pronounced rattle from his exhaust. When in normal mode it sounded a little like diesel clatter, alleviated when Sport mode was engaged but when it was then revved it almost sounded like the actuator valves were rattling in the escaping gas like there was no vacuum present to the actuators? Given the same vacuum system runs the inlet manifold flaps I suspect there is an issue with the entire vacuum system and therefore the ECU has turned the wick down so I hope gogsyp can get it sorted.
klauster, it looks like the re map is working now then...

remap was removed at my request with Audi, I'm running 0090 software now, the car is OEM.
I may look at Exhaust and remap early next year. For now I will enjoy the car as is
For the record the work carried out on my car was:
Software update 0090
All sensors/Vacuum sensors checked, cleaned.
All pipes checked.
I have no reason to think the results on this day were incorrect, all cars seem to make sense of the figures, from OEM versions to tuned.
