Yellowing Carbon Fibre?
Would you say the same if it was the interior CF trim? (although I grant that your ability to complain would be nullified by the fact that the inside temperature would kill you)SJ-RS4 wrote:I think it looks ok IMO, as I sauid before looks real and not like the fake stuff that does not change colour!

I know it is real, and so does everyone else. I've phoned Audi and I'm taking the car round tomorrow for them to have a look at. So far the majority of people have said their CF is not yellowing which to my mind means mine is faulty.
Ill update with what they say/do.
Thanks for all the opinions etc...

I'm really surprised the majority say their CF is not changing colour - this issue has appeared a lot on the US forums, not only on the RS4 but also on the S4.NGS521 wrote:So far the majority of people have said their CF is not yellowing which to my mind means mine is faulty.
It seems from the threads I've read on Audi forums over the last 6 years that underbonnet CF going yellow/green is normal.
I suppose if you look at it like that. agree!NGS521 wrote:Would you say the same if it was the interior CF trim? Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar
Yeah Aberdeen Audi changed it, it was no hassle at all (actually I was very surprised). The service manager Gary came out had a look at the car and said he would have to run it by Audi and he would get back to me. A week later after no contact I went in past and Gary apologised for not phoning but all the parts were in and it was covered by my warranty, 10 minutes to fit them and I was off HURRAY!

Its good that Audi replaced it under the warranty scheme. I will check on mine as well.NGS521 wrote:Here are the pics...I dont like the colour
Incidentally, the picture you posted the Red label on CF on mine seem to come off at the edge, as it can be pealed off!. Is this a low grade sticker Audi stuck on!
