A wheel should be round but cant argue that the round one looks horrid.

The problem is do the majority of buyers think that? I don't think they do - most RS4 buyers seem to "want" the RS4 wheel, so when you come to sell your RS4 to fund an RS5 you won't get as much and/or will find it harder to sell unless it has the flat bottomed wheel. Silly maybe, but I suspect true.

I am in the market,and agree with this.

Yes your right, i guess i have a different perspective having owned one and realised its more form over function.

I have been looking for an avant for past 4 weeks, prices are defintley moving up IMHO, but less seems to be selling (again IMHO). Looked at the 42,500 avant on an 08, and ran away, the car does not add up, certianly not a private sale, given that the pictures are identical to another for sale by bramleys, and it had a romans tax disk holder - romans are specilaist car delaer - hence the porsche 911 px I guess, something they handle, also something fishy about the pedals. I am not sure the avants are fetching over 35k, but the dealers are certianly trying, and there is less for sale then ever before. The cheaper avants on pistonheads seem to be the less desirable a red one with cloth seats ? and others with bucket seats or silver nappa, the flat bottom steering wheel is certianly something I am looking for, but i guess you soon learn if its practical

Cloth seats were never an option on the RS4... both the buckets and the Recaros were leather, or at least leather/alcantara.

Yes they did Dave, it was a combination of race cloth and leather bolsters just on the buckets
