Prices holding up....
RE: Re: RE: Re: Prices holding up....
Decembers glasses while i was buying an avant b7,the 56 plate avant booked at 29800 trade and had a quick look at saloons and just checked the one at the cheapest end out of curiosity, may have got it wrong but really dont think so im very familiar with glasses guide,im sure someone on hear will be able to confirm,i only ever use it as one of the factors in valueing a car its miles out on various models and you could easily get in hot water on many motors

Well I've been having a poke around as I quite fancy a low mileage saloon or avant with recaros (no sprint blue or 'silver' leather) and there is very little out there. Same of many fast cars - stocks are low.
Maserati GranTurismo GTS Auto, S3 Sportback, TT2 3.2 Roadster, Disco3 for the heavy stuff.

19 Avants for sale now on autotrader, with the cheapest car, Not Cat D or very high miles(only two cars), is an 06/56 with 25k miles for £33k!! That would have been £38/9 a few months back.
Great news for 'us' owners

Did you mean 28/9? Cant see how its good news otherwise?
So why is there such a variance in prices across the board.
Still looking for a 06/56 saloon but some (stealers) dealers wanting way over what others have listed on here. Seems book is around 25700 for a 34000 mile 56 plate but dealers (and most private) sellers are still looking over the 30K?
Agree that avants hold their value better but even they are being sold (although not sure whether selling) vastly over the book price.

Thats what I have been doing, albiet trawling online.
Just seems that price varies dramatically (26995 trade to 36000 dealer) for what are basically same spec cars.
Don't want to end up paying way over the odds...
Off on hols for a few weeks so will delve further when I get back but defo need a car before mid may at the latest...
